Why I’m interested

The appeal of Bevy is that a game's logic belongs to the scene rather than one platform's graphics API. I want to carry that scene across a new backend. A triangle gives the problem a concrete starting point: transform the vertices, pass the scene to the renderer, and follow the work down to the platform.

Progress

The platform lab organizes backend forks, a runner, and emulator and hardware workflows. The browser example calculates triangle rotations in Rust and displays the vertices as SVG. The next integration puts that triangle through the Bevy and wgpu stack.

Follow a triangle through the graphics layers

Change the rotation and compare the transformed vertices with the native renderer path.

Choose an example

The same scene at a new angle

Rotate each vertex around the center and the scene changes without changing its three-vertex structure. The renderer's job is to carry that scene to the platform.

Rust calculates the triangle and draws it as SVG for this browser view. The next integration runs the scene through Bevy, wgpu, and the platform backend.

What comes next

Run the triangle through a Bevy build, then compare the emulator and hardware output.

Implementation and credits

How does a scene pass from Bevy through wgpu to the platform backend?

Rust transforms an original triangle and exports the result as SVG. The diagram traces the native Bevy graphics layers.

Choose a rotation and inspect the vertices and renderer boundary.

Rust calculates the browser vertices and SVG. The native platform lab uses Bevy and wgpu.

Platform experiments build on upstream Bevy, wgpu, and Deko3D work.
